The "Vale do Rio" Restaurant was renovated in the 1990s, having previously been a grocery store and, later, a tavern known for its fine wine, belonging to the Abel Pereira da Fonseca Commercial Society.
Today, it stands out for its decoration with tile panels alluding to the old riverside area and the donkey carts of the 20th century, which creates a very welcoming atmosphere.
